Every time I go to open a folder on my Windows XP
desktop, I get an error message: Windows Explorer has
encountered an error and needs to close. I have tried
removing folders and putting new ones on, same deal.
They used to work until about a week ago. I have tried
many things, but nothing corrects this. I can open
shortcuts from "start, programs" just fine.

I appreciate any help you can give.

Go into Windows Explorer and click on a Folder there. It will
probably happen there also. If thats the case I would do a
Repair Install. www.dougknox.com WinXPTips Left column
