How to clean the start up program??

I got a lot of programs starting up with windows. I want
clean them up, but I don't know how to do this. Could yuo
please tall me how to clean the start up group in windows
XP home edition??

Start---run---type in MSCONFIG click ok. Look at startup files and select
the ones you want.
