My "scheduled items" are failing to run. Among them are: Norton Scans, and
NT Backup. The status column says "Could not start"; last result is 0x0.
When I look in the event viewer, I am not seeing anythign that I can be sure
is Norton related. I am seeing errors on the sources called ESENT, and VSS.
On the ESENT, I am getting the following error:

One thought I might check out: I had read somewhere that installing the
Roxio V6 of CD and DVD creator had stopped their Norton Auto scans from
working. I may try to uninstall that. but thought I'd try here first.
