SP2 Upgrade is not show in Add/remove programs. Right click Properties shows
SP2 is installed. Letting MS search for available updates does not determine
that SP2 is needed. It appears that on some level it is still installed. I
need to get it off to be able to once again hold video conversations with
someone in US. I'm in UK. It worked before the upgrade. Any help would be
appreciated.

In addition:
Have tried reinstalling SP2 from CD but it still doesn't show up in
Add/remove programs.

How to remove Windows XP Service Pack 2 from your computer
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875350
It should be listed as Windows XP Service Pack 2 in the Add or Remove
Programs.
If it is not listed, I assume it is not properly installed, which may be the
cause of
your problem. When installing SP2, shut down all programs, even your
anti-virus
and do not be on-line (Internet). Close your screensaver, and boot in Safe
Mode
to install SP2 from the CD.
