Ok, so i went to back up my data and before i got anywhere i recieved this
message right at the begining when i was asked to insert a floppy: The backup
file name could not be used A:\ backup.bkf; Please ensure it is a valid path,
and that you have sufficient access. I was using the wizard and i belong to
the administrators group on this computer so i know i have access. i
installed a floppy and hit next and it gave me that message. I read all the
info on backing up data in my help topics before i started this process but
somehow i must be doing something wrong. Also i am using the NTFS file system
but when i tried to format the floppy the only option that it gave me was the
option for FAT. I checked to make sure my floppy was working properly and it
says it is so i am stumped. ANY help with this would be well recieved thx!

1. The file format for floppies is fat - always will be if you are using
Windows.
2. Why do you want to backup to floppies? You would need many hundreds to
backup the O/S.

Correct--specifically the FAT12 flavor of FAT.

There's no help necessary. That's the way it's supposed to be and
there's nothing wrong with that.
