blank screen when closing folders

[fisherman]

hiya.......every time i close a folder (ie: my documents) the screen goes
blank then comes back on again...i cant work it out how to solve it?..any
help would be greatly appreciated...i do not want to use system restore as i
would rather know the cause of the problem..thx again..

The Explorer is crashing. Check in the Control Panel > Administrative
Tools > Event Viewer if you can find additional informations here.
