Tangent Pop Up

I have an HP and I get a pop up on start up staying a Tangent Game cannot
load. Can I safely remove this in Add/Remove programs?

The best thing you can do with an HP is wipe the hard drive and install a
real copy of XP to get rid of all the junk HP bundles with their computers
and, next time, get a white box so you don't have to pay a kidney and a
liver for a computer. When I say "wipe the hard drive", I mean the long wipe
or writing zeros on the hard drive, not the quick format. Find out the brand
name of your hard drive, go to the manufacturer's web site and download the
floppy disk utilities, NOT the CD ROM utilities to do the complete wipe,
format and partition your hard drive.

Wild Tangent, for all practical purposes, is scumware and said scumware paid
scummy HP to put it on your computer. Nice of them, eh?

It would be a good idea to do a thorough scan of the system for all
spyware/adware etc.

Run these programs to check for spyware/malware. After installing
update them, then boot into safe mode and run them. You should update
and run them weekly.
