low memory

[Royal]

Occassionally I get a 'Low Memory' pop-up at the bottom
of my screen. I'm running a E-Machine 300 upgraded 128mgs
ram ... 40gig hd new install of XP and Norton Utilities &
Virus Protection. What do I need to do to stop the 'low
memory' problem ?
