On my wife's account on the desktop is a file created Jan. 30th, which may
explain her Java errors, but I have not a clue as to how to fix it. Here is
what the message starts with:
An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.
Unexpected Signal : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) occurred at
PC=0x6D311FFF
Function=[Unknown.]
Library=C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin\jpiexp32.dll
NOTE: We are unable to locate the function name symbol for the error
just occurred. Please refer to release documentation for possible
reason and solutions.
The file then names a multitude of files from different places on the
computer system. I tried to check via Symantec's web site but they don't
reference anything like this as something in a virus/trojan/worm/etc.
