Having trouble getting drivers for USB 2.0 to install on
my system...running Windows XP Home. I have tried the
drivers from the company that made my mobo (ASUS) as well
as third party drivers, as well as the Windows XP
drivers, but to no avail. All I get from Microsoft is a
reply that Windows XP AUTOMATICALLY identifies USB 2.0
hardware when it is plugged in (and of course, they are
wrong!). Any help on this? Every time I attempt to
install drivers, I get a message saying that the system
was unable to install the drivers because the data is
invalid. I could accept that for maybe one driver, but I
have tried four different drivers from four different
companies, and I get the same message....is it an XP
error? Any help is appreciated!!!
