Not all installation programs are set up to put it there, or something
could have messed up during the install. In the former look in the
program directory for an uninstall file. If the later you can try
reinstalling. Is there a problem? What specific program are you
worried about?

Here's the registry key that lists the programs in add/remove. I wouldn't
mess with it though.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall

If one or more of the entries may be more than 63 characters then it
will only takes one of them to be wrong and have some or all of the
installed programs fail to appear.
