about 4/5 days ago hotmail, messenger, passport became unusable on my wifes
computer when accessed via any MSN route [errors read: Page cannot be
displayed, cannot sign in, incorrect name and password, cannot find server]
Mozzilla then installed as this browser gives access to hotmail.
Multiple attempts using all the online help pages to resolve this situation
are making matters worse.
Norton Security uninstalled and now cannot be reinstalled as upgrades fail.
Firewall has been turned off. MSN Messenger cannot be upgraded or
reinstalled, and any upgrades to windows cannot be installed error code
0x800b0001.
I cannot identify any configuration differences between the three machines
on this network.
I have two desktops and a laptop [all dell] currently running on a BT
Voyager Wireless network linked to OneTell Broadband. Only a single
desktop[12 months old] has the problem.
