Java

Hi, does anybody know if there is a risk to running
Java? I heard bad things about Java in the past. I
haven't downloaded Java, and I currently don't have a
console enabled in my options. s a matter of fact, I no
longer see an option to enable a console. I don't
understand everything I know about Java, so any comments
will be appreciated.

No problems here but it may depend on what sites you are going to
visit. However, in the "darker areas" of the Internet you may get many
kinds of malware, not only Java things.
