In winXP I keep getting an error message at startup. It
reads 16 bit program error, Insufficient memory to run
this program. Quit one or more windows applications and
then try again.

Has anyone else come across this error message. I have
heard all sorts of reasons from VXD and DLL problem to
Sound Blaster and CD ROM. Anyone got any info on this?

If you are not using any older 16-Bit Dos Program then go to Start>Run
Type: sysedit Look in Sys.ini and Win.ini for
any entries that should not be there and either delete or better Type RE
in front of the Line entry.
