I tried sometime ago to install the sevice pack update
for XP and it crashed my machine. Microsft tech support
helped me re-install my XP Home OS and told me the reason
the sevice pack crashed was a conflict with my version of
Nvidia display adapter (maybe it's a graphics adapter). I
have since updated to the newest version of Nvida
software, but am scared to try to install the sevice
pack. Any suggestions.
Also I keep getting pop ups at different sites that I
need to download Java Vitual Machine. When I try to
download it I get redirected to a Microsoft site saying
that I need to download a more recent version of
Microsoft Virtual Machine, but I can't find this download
on the Microsoft download list. ????
