i installed sp2 on a laptop. also installed etrust antivirus. I can no longer
connect any of my network devices. My wireless and my LAN wont connect or
find a connection. I have enabled and disabled devices again and again. I
have tried to "repair" the connections through windows. All the hardware
appears to be working. I have uninstalled and re-installed the drivers, and
everything is up to date. I just can't find a connection. I have also turned
the firewall off and tried again, as well as turning off the new
antivirus..... no luck!!!!!

I'm experiencing the same issue on my home computer. I found the following
website which outlines a fix, but have yet to try it as I am still at work.
http://www.pchell.com/support/limitedconnectivity.shtml
Hope it helps.

I had the same problem, but a technician at work recommended a Windows fix,
which I got from the download site - it worked for me. apperntly this is a
know issue, and was emailed to those who are "in the know".
