Hello all, I am currently having problems with the remote assistance feature
and Messenger.
1st. My computer has a fresh install of Windows XP with all updates expect
Service Pack II.
2nd. Messenger 6.2 is installed and working fine expect for remote
assistance.
3rd. Before I did a fresh install of Windows XP, messenger worked fine with
remote assistance.
4th. I have remote assistance and remote desktops turned on via the system
properties.
5th. I login with messenger 6.2 not 4.7
6th. I dont have any firewalls of any kind.
Remote Assistance and Messenger used to work before with no problems.
The error I keep getting when I try to use remote assistance is: I need a
new version of messenger??
Any suggestions or comments?
