problem with SP2

Since downloading SP2 I have a couple of things not working and I am unsure
how to correct this problem.

User accounts in control panel will not work
Search option in start menu will not work
microsoft help and support will not open windows closes the program.
and my broadband medic will not open.

Deinstall the SP2. If all is well now, reinstall the pack. Make sure
that no other programs run in the background at the same time.
