hello,
ive got a partition where the drive itself is physically
broken. i can read from it, but writing to always causes
the drive to make a nasty sound, after which i have to
reset. (theres nothing important on there)
unforunately, windows update seems to put the wutemp
directory on that drive! (it has the most free space on
it..?) so i cant install service pack one :( is there any
way to specify the temporary folder windows update uses??
i have lots of free disk space elsewhere!
thanks for any help,
mas
