SP2 and Hibernation Mode Issue

After insrtalling sp2 on my Dell Inspiron 2650 the Hibernation mode will not
work when a manual hibernation is tried. The machine freezes on preparing to
hibernate.

The machine will hibernate properly if low battery power is configured to
put it in hibernate mode. If this happens hibernate continues to work in all
modes until a reboot.

Anyone had a similar problem?
