SP2 Restart Problem

I recently installed sp2. Now, whenever I restart, the computer will shut
down and begin to boot back up, but the monitor will not turn on.

I've looked at that checklist before. Unfortunately, it does not address my
problem. I'm not having the usual problems. The computer restarts, but my
monitor will not turn on. A normal shutdown and boot by pushing the button
goes fine.
