Hi Leo,

Could be you are not logged in as administrator. Do you
have administrator priveliges? If you do not, then you
will not be able to install updates, or alter the
configuration in any major way.

Go to 'Start', click on 'Control Panel', then on 'User
Accounts'. If you click on the relevant accounts, you
will see if they have administrator priveliges. If the
account you use does not, then you will have to alter it,
or get the system administrator to alter it for you.
