Fax not getting sent from XP

Hi!

The modem is dialing the number and the ring goes also. But then the fax is
not being sent and after sometime the status becomes 'No Answer'. The fax
machine is working fine and the ring is going also. but the fax doesnt get
recieved on the fax machine.

If your fax is receiving the 'no answer' message, are you dialling the
correct number?.. is the fax machine at the other end powered up?..
