HP1210xi printer/scanner installed on Dell GX280 running XP2002 SP2 prints so slowly that you can hardly tell it's printing (one page single-spaced takes ~15 min). Originally installed w/ CD that came w/ printer (yes, according to instructions on poster i.e., waited until instructed to plug in the printer). Also uninstalled and retried w/ newest driver from HP Driver Download. Same result, excruciatingly slow printing. Thanks in advance if anyone knows a solution !

USB, in back of the cpu (port A of 4 possible ports). Print initiates immediately upon command but the actual job takes forever. Scanner works without delay.
