I have a little problem with a program on my PC.

When i close down explorer or any program for that matter
i get a windows installer program starting to run.
I dont know what program i am supposed to be installing
but it happened after i installed Microsoft Office XP, i
then deleted Office XP but the program still remains, if
i try to cancel it the program just says it is cancelling
and just stays on my desktop, and the only way to remove
it is by pressing ctrl, alt and delete, but as soon as i
close down explorer it pops back up again.

Any info on this will be greatly appreciated.

I think the best idea would probably be to just let the installer run.
When you find out what product it is trying to install, you may want
to go ahead and install it. It does sound like Office is giving you
trouble. Perhaps it didn't uninstall properly. By letting it finish,
you may be able to get rid of it.

Do a virus check on it first, if you are to open it.

You might also like to try MoveOnBoot, a freeware:
