Upgrade

I upgraded from win-me to win-xp but I cant get my dial-
up modem to work. It says drivers are not compatable with
xp. Any suggestions to resolve this problem.

Go to the manufacturers site and get XP or possibly W2K drivers if XP
drivers aren't available.

If the modem's manufacturer can't or won't provide WinXP-specific
drivers for your modem, you best option may well be to replace it with
one that is WinXP-Compatible.

Well, try to download the drivers for xp from the modem manufacture web
site, search Google. Would have been wonderful if you expanded on the model
of the modem and type and how old.

All I know about this modem is what information I got
from the installation screen :PCI 56k voice
modem\Conexant. But I understand Conexant doesnt make
modems just the chips for modems. Also when I open the
tower the only numbers I can see where the phone jack is
are MC700, is there somewhere else I need to look for
more info?
