installation hangs

[ps34109]

I have two programs I can't install. Setup starts, then
just stops. I have tried using "Run", but still no luck.
Any ideas?

Hi,

An idea: Clear the temp folders. Delete the contents of:

C:\Windows\temp
C:\Documents and settings\<username>\local settings\temp

and try again.

There is one file that I can't delete in local/temp, and
there are two files i can't delete in windows/temp. Any
suggestions? Thanks.

Hi,

One or two files that are undelteable are normal if you are running AV or
firewall software. You can leave those few alone. It's also an indication
that you have not terminated all running programs before attempting the
installation.
