View Full Version : How do I get XP to stop showing partial drop down menus

I know there is a setting in XP to show entire drop-down menus but I can't
find it. Right now Outlook and Office programs show an abbreviated menu (of
recently used items I suppose). I thought this was the Personalized Menu
option which I've left unchecked but I guess there is a different option for
what I'm talking about. Can anyone tell me how to get the full menus back?
Thanks...

In Word it's Tools - Customise - Options - Menus Show Recently Used =
Commands First

That did it. Worked for Outlook too. Must affect all Office clients.
Thanks.

That is NOT an XP condition. It is an Office condition and is configurable
by right clicking (wonderful little option) on the toolbar and going to
customize. Try right clicking on almost anything. Learn about the programs
you have installed and what you can do with them.
