Missing icons in taskbar

Hi all,

Everytime I minimize an application window, it does not show up in the
taskbar and it just disappears. I can use Alt+Tab to bring it up. The
process is there when I view the task manager. I tried to unhide the icons,
system restore but still no fixes.

Any ideas ?

Hi Derek,

Open any greeting cards lately?

Go to Add & Remove in the Control Panel and uninstall Friend greetings and
Winsrv reg

Hi Rick,

Thank you for your advice, however, there is no friend greetings or Winsrv
reg in my Add & Remove list.

Hi Derek,

Try rebuilding the taskbar, start/run regedit. Navigate to and delete this
key, then reboot:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\StuckRe
cts2
