Need help on this one!!

Hi,

I am trying to send a fax from a Win XP PC using XP fax( D-Link
560ES modem) to a Xerox 7241 fax machine. The fax handshake
occurs , but it aborts without sending the fax.Same error is
observed with other fax machines also.

The Xerox 7241 indicates this as a "Communication error"

However I am able to send faxes using the same modem on a win2k
machine

is there anything i need o check on the XP PC for sending faxes.

The modem check on the XP returns the following message:

AT+GMM - +GMM: V90

Can you anyone figure out this problem? I have been trying for

alleviated.

Thanks in advance,
Peter
