Has any one heard of any problems with xp/home and mcafee
internet security 5.0? I have heard that there may be a
compatability issue. I am fairly new to computers and do
not need any problems installing this software.
If mcafee is no good, could someone recommend which
protection software would be good to use with xp/home.
Any and all suggestions would be very helpful.

I use the XPs built-in firewall
with AntiVir Personal Edition, free for non-commercial use.
Works good, nice user interface, frequent updates www.free-av.com
My system, Win XP Home v2002 (with SP1 integrated)
Dial-up internet connection.
