repeated restarts with sp2

Just installed sp2 and now get repeated restarts, cannot find a patch that
resolves.
any suggestions??

There are other possible causes...Roxio, bad Kernel.dll file, bad ATI
Radeon video adapter

When I am logged out, the shut down process works as expected. When I'm
logged on and shut down, I still get contant restarts.

Found an updated logitech mouseware software and updated BIOS...shut down now
is working properly.
