View Full Version : Installed XP SP2; CDRW drives changed to CD-ROM!

Re-Installing driver doesn't change the situation. No recording tab in the
properties box.
What can I do? Three systems: Two out of the three drives are on the HCL.,
so they should work....

Have the Disc for SP2 from Microsoft... Everytime I read stuuf like this, I
am glad I haven't installed it.

Simple problem to fix. Look for the upper/lower filter patch from Kelly.
You should be able to find it if you "Google" this newsgroup.

That would be article 320553: CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive appears to be
missing after you install Windows XP....
