Hi,
My mom was playing a game and her computer froze. So she
turned it off and
now when it starts up it says, no system disk, insert
valid system disk and
it just stays at the prompt "boot from atapi cdrom disk
boot failure insert
system disk press enter". The red light does not go on on
my computer case
as well.
Any help would be appreciated

enter your bios on start up and change the boot device sequence so that the
first boot device is your hard drive and not your cd rom.

you will have to browse the bios until you find the option. to enter bios
press either f2 or delete on start up (depends on your bios which one)

If that doesn't work, try taking the Cd out of the cdrom drive. You may need
to press enter at the prompt.
