I'm having problems with my laptop (HP Omnibook 500).
When I reboot, there is an error message that says "No
operating system found".

Also, when I try to load my HP Emergency Recovery disks
that came with my computer I would get the following
message "Error encountered while creating Save to Disk
partition".

Can anyone help me out.

Thanks,

Jim

Sounds like your HDD has been formatted and your save to disk partition has
been removed. You need to replace the partition before you can move on.
You should go to the HP website for more info, but they should have a
program called "PHdisk.exe." or something similar that is used as a boot
disk and replaces the Save to Disc Partition. Once the partition is
replaced you should be able to use your recovery discs.
