I noticed that when I move a hard drive from computer A to
computer B, I get as far as the Windows XP Pro splash
screen, then am prompted to the blue screen of death upon
which the computer automatically reboots. Is there a way
to work around this? Thanks.

Kim;
Probably not.
The hard drive has to redetect the new hardware in the computer.
Usually that requires a Repair installation.
