Why does my computer every time I start it up say that I
have new hardwear with my printers and than goes to
install and than states that it was not installed when it
is already installed. I do not get this message about any
of my other pluged in equpment. I f this is posted in the
wrong place I am sorry but web site is hard to navagate
and if you would forward to the proper department.

This is a known problem with some printers. The printer manufacturers
usually have directions for how to make this stop happening at their
online tech support areas. Some things you can try:
- When Windows asks for the drivers for the printer, direct it to the
folder that you installed these to.
- Uninstall everything related to the printer. Shutdown completely. Turn
computer back on after waiting a minute. Reinstall the printer and its
software following the manufacturer's directions *exactly.* Pay special
attention to the steps that tell you when to connect and/or turn on the
printer. The timing can be critical to completing the install
successfully and correctly.
