Boot time varies depending on what Startups & Watchdogs run. You
can use MSConfig.Exe to view the startup map. Network initialization
can also add significant time to startup. Certain Security Suites will add
services to your system that cause boot up to take longer.
50 Degrees C on an Intel is too warm. What kind of cooling does your
case have , Any extra intake/exhaust fans ? Proper installation of the
CPU fan (Contact/Paste) is essential to keep the CPU from overheating.
BootVis traces should be written out automatically. Your post isn't very
clear on any specific issue, so it's hard to know which one you need help
with.

first thing I do is to deletye the contents of the PREFETCH folder and reboot.
just the contents, not the folder.
when you uninstall programs, their entry in the prefetch folder is not automatically removed and the system is still looking for it on boot up.

Seem to have a slow boot up, times from the Dual boot menu to the desktop
shows, its 1 min 8 sec..

Also seem to have problems with bootvi, it ends up not responding when saving
the Bin file..

P4 3.2g and 1gig ram Dual channel

2x Seagate 120gb HD on a None Raid onboard ATA controller..

I have a felling that the CPU is shutting down and over heating as it some
times shows 50c after a boot but drops down to 32-37c

Any clues..

Thanks
