I have set up my computer to receive automatic updates.
I load the update, turn off the computer, and then turn
the computer back on. The same message is received that I
have automatic updates to load. I have loaded these same
updates several times with the same results. How do I
check my computer to see which updates are actually
loaded and how do I get rid of this continual message?

You can view what updates are/were installed by clicking on windows update
and selecting update history on the left side. Personally I do NOT use
autoupdate for many reasons. I do them manually about once every two weeks
by clicking on windows update etc. However for your problem, Go to
C:/windows/system32 and find the file 'catroot2' and rename it such as
'oldroot2'. Then, reboot and download the updates (auto or manually) and
install them. A new catroot2 file will be generated.
