Help!
Recently on just one of my machines instead of sending a web report to MS
when an application crashes I see a DOS box appear running the program
dumprep. This then sends a huge file of mostly blank pages to the local
printer. I have to maually kill the print job.
Error reporting and saving of a minidump is turned on, but previously this
gave no problems and settings under my computer advanced properties are the
same as on my other systems. It seems very strange and I can find remarkably
little using google either in newsgroups or the web.
Dumprep does not appear itself in my startup list in MSCONFIG - presumably
the error reporting service is starting it. But why is it sending output to
the printer not to the web?
Thanks!
