i want to install a different firewall,but how do i uninstall the one with
xp?easy language please,not too good on computer jargon.

You can't uninstall it. Go to control panel..double click the windows
firewall icon and set it to off.

Ricky has it correct, however when you go to control panel you have to click
on, Net Work and Internet connections, then Firewall. Good Luck

From reading your message again we both forgot to tell you to click on the
"Start" on the bottom left of your screen then click on control panel, then
click on network and internet connections, then click on firewall, ON or Off.

thankyou all for helping me,i now have firewall from sygate,ad-ware,avg virus
and spybot,i think i`m sorted now,so cheers
