I have received two messages (within the last
week) "Recovering from a serious error or crash"
I submitted report to Microsoft.
Screen directs me to a driver problem, I have not
installed new drivers recently.
I have used up my online support for this product so I am
searching for a solution.

Without knowing what driver or what the error message is, the best I can say
is reinstall the errant driver and/or look for newer drivers for that
device.

If it's that general "device driver" report (type 445569
or 102), I've had the same problem, at start-up. I
posted earlier and advice was to run MSCONFIG - from the
Start tab, uncheck all except antivirus, click ok,
restart. Go down the list checking one at a time (I did
3 or 4) and going thru the process until the error
message appears, thus narrowing down which program, and
taking it from there.
Funny thing... I never got the error back after
completing the whole process. Don't know why, but maybe
it will work for you.
