I'm sure someone-somewhere has already answered this
question.
But please answer again. My problem is this....I replaced
my SIS motherboard with a Biostar.I have reformatted the
HD using fdisk and also using the Recovery Console, typing
fixmbr.Bios boot is set as follows,1)floppy,2)HDD-0,3)cd-
rom,4)Boot other.I have installed WinXP Home several
times, but I cannot get the system to boot without the
CD.I have F9 to HDD-0,but after post and waiting forever
screen reads 'BOOT FROM CD-ROM:_'If cd is in the drive
Windows will boot.If I hit any key it will attempt to
install!!?%.Any ideas...PLEASE?
