AMD dual opteron motherboard on sp1 or sp2 ??

hi,
I'm running a dual opteron workstation on a msi kst master 2-far dual
opteron motherboard
now, i was wondering if there would be any compatablitity issues if i
install sp2,.
I'm currently at sp1 windows sp pro...
i was debating on installin the new windows 64 to get the most out of my 64
bit processors but i heard there were still issues with that .

pls let me knwo if it would be best to up-grade to sp2 ??
Would i have any problem running any software..i mostly use 3ds studio max .
Also i heard (if this is true ) that if i up to sp2 i'll have trouble
installing 3rd party apps..??

There are, that's why it's still in the beta process. Wait for final
release, do not load this on a production machine.

It would be, there are many security enhancements in addition to the system
updates.

Some few apps had a problem. Most are resolved by patches issued by the
program distributor.
