What in the world is windows xp doing to my system ..
sheesh. This is a raw installation now, no updates yet
or nothing, and everything was running pretty fast until
I used the new connection wizard and set up my internet
connection (it's DSL connection Dynamic IP Address).
Everything is set up properly, I can connect to the
internet...etc...etc...but when my system is loading up
and it gets to the desktop there is nothing I can really
do with my system until the problem subsides. I click on
start it shows the menu, but then it freezes. I can't
right click on the desktop...nothing until xp seems to
get done with whatever it is doing with the internet
connection. Is there a program in a raw installation of
xp that would be trying to connect to the internet wihout
there even being a connection yet? This is frustrating,
I've reinstalled my system several times already.
