What is EPC MODE?

I have an "old" VAROMAN MP3 player, and would like to
download some MP3 files into it. The help/instruction
tells: "Make sure that the PC is set to ECP mode before
connecting". What is EPC mode and how can it be set?

Hi Rob,

ECP mode is set in the system BIOS. Check your system documentation on how
to access the BIOS at startup. You can check to see if it is already set by
going into the Control Panel/System properties/hardware tab/Device Manager
and expanding the Ports branch.
