I purchased this computer (Compaq Presario 1210US) with
ME installed as the opsys. I have since upgraded to XP. I
have been to the DOWNLOAD sites online for WINDOWS,
COMPAQ, and HEWLETT PACKARD. I have installed every
SOFPAQ, UPDATE, DOWNLOAD, PATCH, HOTFIX, ETC. that I can
find to resolve the problem. I started with AOL as my
ISP, and have since switched to MSN. Ever since the day I
switched (yes, I did uninstall and delete all AOL related
items), all I ever get out of ALL of the programs I have
installed on this computer (after, or while using MSN),
is 'PROGRAM NOT RESPONDING' errors. If I sign off AND
restart, the problem seems to either go away, or slip
into hiding waiting for me to go back online again. Every
time it happens, XP offers the opportunity to send an
error report to Microsoft, and I have sent them all, but
I have yet to get a response from them. CAN ANY PERSON
OUT THERE HELP ME?!!!
