transfer RAID drivers from disc to floppy and insert
floppy when directed to install 3rd party RAID drivers
when installing XP.

obviously your motherboard has raid controller


find out which one through device manager or your motherboard paperwork and
visit their site for the driver. (maybe promise technology) ......OR.....

you can disable the controller through device manager if you don't use it.


right click on my computer and select 'manage'......... then from the left
select 'device manager'


find the serial ata and raid controllers entry and disable the device.
