My XP Pro Search function frequently fails to find
documents by a content word. I have saved test files in
small folders and search in those folder by word and
got "no results to display" immediately after saving.

Nothing in Knowledge Base seems to address this. Anybody
know a solution? Thanks...

The search feature in XP is terrible.
I recommend Agent Ransack, a free search utility available from
http://www.agentransack.com/

a direct link to the download:

A much smaller utility is find.zip at http://www.shellfront.org/utils/
Only 85K, simple format, has all the bells and whistles, REALLY fast.
Mostly I find the XP Search useful when I want to find something
located inside a compressed file.
