A couple days ago my computer decided to fall apart on
me. Seemingly out of nowhere the mouse and audio would
glitch about once a second, and while it does this
everything runs extremely slowly. I think I've narrowed
it down to times either the harddrive or processor is
accessed, but I'm not positive. I've tried running
windows update, updating audio and video drivers, running
scandisk and defrag, and virus scanning, none of which
helped. In fact it might just be getting worse. My next
step might be to flash my BIOS, not really sure that will
help at all though... The mouse glitches seem to be in
time with the refresh in the task manager, but I've tried
pausing that and it doesn't help with the slowdowns. If
anyone else out there has had this problem or might know
what's going on, please help me out! Thanks in advance.
